What will the apprentice be doing?
Join our programme and you'll study towards a BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions degree (Software Engineering focus) at the University of Winchester one day a week and spend the other four developing your career at CGI. You will be in a role relevant to the degree specialism you study (Software Engineering) and this could include: •Software Development •Software Testing
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You'll study for a BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions degree qualification with the University of Winchester. You can expect to study a range of modules that will benefit your IT career! What's even better is this learning is complemented by on-the-job training on real projects at CGI. One of the best thing about joining us is that while you may start in one area, the opportunity to move internally is huge, so you can take control of your career from day one.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
At the end of your apprenticeship, you will have achieved a degree qualification. You have a permanent contract from day one so you continue to work for CGI after you have completed your apprenticeship. You'll also benefit from a competitive starting salary and all the support you need to succeed. We'll even provide the course resources and materials required!
