As a DMO Apprentice, you will be a member of the Development Management Office (DMO) team responsible for planning activities across a global portfolio of projects which generates over 9,000 days of work each month. This team's responsibilities include programme level demand and supply planning, monthly scope and capacity planning, budget collation, forecast variance reporting, and financial and project reporting. The data gathered and maintained by the DMO is used to support decision making at regionally and globally and as such it is essential that accurate and timely management information is produced reliably and regularly.
Main Activities
Whilst we expect all our employees to do what needs to be done to demonstrate their support of Bravura Solutions, below are some specific aspects of your role for which you will be responsible:
  • Creating and maintaining programme level forecasts and reporting change for multiple teams globally
  • Producing programme level documents to explain changes in demand and supply against previous baselined positions
  • Work with Project and Programme Managers to ensure all forecasts are accurate and executable based on contractual commitments and/or new change requests
  • Assessing, managing, and presenting capacity restraints and proposed solutions
  • Managing escalation process to steering meetings when necessary
  • Work with Development Managers, Infrastructure Managers and HR to ensure supply is accurate (including recruitment, secondments, long term leave etc.)
  • Tracking and reporting of performance across multiple global projects and teams
  • Demand v Supply planning by region, resource and client for Development, Infrastructure, and Information Security teams
  • Implementing and ensuring teams adhere to global DMO governance and controls
  • Run monthly sprint and iteration planning for Development and Infrastructure teams, ensuring work readiness and levelled demand / supply
  • Lead the budget collation for multiple teams including periodic re-forecasting and reporting
  • Reporting at programme and project level (for Finance, Development, Infrastructure and Professional Services)
  • Development and maintenance of Excel based reporting suite
In addition to the above position-specific responsibilities, all employees are required to undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within your capability and skills, when requested to do so.

Desired qualifications

  • To be an Data Analyst Apprentice you will need to be a tech enthusiast with a minimum of 5 GCSE's of which maths & English Language are essential. and / or equivalent qualifications.
  • Strong A Level grades
  • Any formal Excel training and exposure to Excel Power Pivot and Power Query would be highly beneficial
  • Knowledge of PowerBI would be useful
