As an apprentice you will learn how to scope, plan, deliver and support projects. You'll work on in-progress and new projects in some of the UK biggest companies with stakeholders at all level on both sides of the projects reporting to our Senior project managers.

What you will be doing:
  • Scoping projects which come through from our Sales teams
  • Building project plans
  • Maintaining risk registers
  • Implementing and monitoring change control processes
  • Managing project governance
  • Managing stakeholder communication and expectations
  • Planning hardware and software deployments
  • Going to site to install our solutions
  • Working cross team to get projects delivered on time and to budget
  • Reporting to one of our senior project managers

Personal qualities

  • The most important personal quality at Counter Solutions is the ability to listen and to learn. This is a personal quality we expect from leadership level through all levels of each department
  • Technical skills required on day one is proficiency with the Microsoft Office stack -Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Our Programme and Product managers use a variety of tools and methodologies, but we will teach you all you need to know on these


Desired qualifications

  • 5 or more c grades at GCSE
  • Ideally - A level English, maths, Business or STEM related qualification
