Job Title: Support Secretary

Location/Trust: Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport

Department: Integrated Care

Band/Pay rate: Band 3 £10.40 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

The Role

Can you bring your excellent secretarial skills to our Integrated Care Team?

We have a temporary 3-month placement opportunity available for a Secretary at Stepping Hill Hospital. The Secretary will be providing the following support to the team:
  • Provide an efficient and confidential secretarial support service to the Business Group including the direct inputting of attendance and overtime incurred on to the computerised Health Rostering Systems.
  • Maintain office systems, which contribute to the efficiency of the Department.
  • To record and monitor annual leave/sickness for the Business Group including annual leave calculations and queries.
  • Responsible for taking and transcribing notes at various meetings as required by the Business Group.
  • Administrative tasks as required in line with the band of the post.

The skills required are:
  • Admin experience
  • Secretarial experience
  • Minute taking experience
  • Excellent Microsoft Package knowledge

Stepping Hill Hospital is located on Poplar Grove Stockport and it is easily accessible via both car and public transport. There is on-site parking (fees will apply). It has an on-site restaurant where staff are eligible for a discount. There is also a café where drinks and light snacks are available. There are also on-site shops and free Wi-Fi.
