Location/Trust: Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport

Department: Infection Prevention Service

Band/Pay rate: Band 2 £9.49 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday. Negotiable shifts times between hours of 8am - 5pm

The Role

Can you bring your excellent Administrative skills to our Infection Prevention Team?

We have a temporary 3-month placement opportunity available for an Admin Assistant at Stepping Hill Hospital; this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic and commited individual to support and join a dynamic team.

The successful

candidate will need to have exceptional organisational skills and be able to work on their own initiative. As the first point of contact, it is essential that you have a professional, welcoming and helpful manner at all times.

It is essential that you already have administration skills such as typing and effective communication. Familiarity of medical terminology would be a particular benefit, but not essential.

The post holder will be expected to work flexibly over 7 days to meet the demands of the service

You will be required to work to high standards maintaining a high quality finish to aspects of your work.

Stepping Hill Hospital is located on Poplar Grove Stockport and it is easily accessible via both car and public transport. There is on-site parking (fees will apply). It has an on-site restaurant where staff are eligible for a discount. There is also a café where drinks and light snacks are available. There are also on-site shops and free Wi-Fi.
