We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Sister (F Grade) to join our Urology & Neurosciences Unit, based at our main Hospital (London, W1G) with an inclusive salary range on offer of £40,909 - £45,739 per annum. Job Description

To assist the manager in ensuring the department is efficiently and effectively managed at all times, and be responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of care and services.

Job Type:Permanent and Full Time

Shifts:37.5 hours per week (Days/Nights/Weekends)

Duties & Responsibilities
  • To establish effective interdepartmental liaison to achieve optimum levels of patient care, and to encourage working relationships within the multidisciplinary team.
  • To take charge of the ward in the absence of the manager.
  • To plan staff duty rotas to ensure economical, effective staff patient allocation whilst including internal rotation.
  • Ensure that drug administration and control is in accordance with legislative requirements and clinic regulations.

Skills & Experience
  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC Registration.
  • At least 3 years post registration in acute surgical area with minimum 2-year experience in urology area.
  • Management of all aspects of urology issues.
  • IV giver/assessor and epidural assessed.
