All successfully appointed staff will be assigned to the nearest base to their home location within the SCW Estate unless there is a justifiable business case for basing staff at another site (e.g. customer site). SCW staff that are in posts considered to be agile will not be expected to attend office space for general working but will be required on occasions to attend face to face meetings and collaborative working sessions that may require travel to their home base or other locations across the estate or customer sites.

SCW have two vacancies for Junior IT Trainer (Apprenticeship) within SCW's IT Training Team working across the whole SCW customer base. This is a development role for which the successful applicant will receive training in GP clinical systems and work towards a training design and deliver qualification.

SCW are proud to provide IT training services for around 11% (850) of GP practices in England.

The post holder will provide NHS applications and GP clinical systems training to GP practices. You will be responsible for facilitating practices to use clinical systems to support their business processes. You will play a key role in delivering an agreed training service and demonstrating value to the customer through provision of a professional training service. The successful applicant will have transferable skills for working with, supporting and training GP practice staff to use IT systems, clinical applications and other system tasks.

The role holder will work closely with IT Services teams and some travel will also be required throughout the customer areas to deliver training.

Being a self-motivated team player, with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, you may also possess experience and expertise in training gained within a large scale organisation, ideally within the NHS or healthcare sector.
