Salary: £15.32 - £27.47 per hour. Annual salary based on full time hours: £29,874.00 - £41,203.50. Subject to hours worked

Job Summary:

Totally plc Urgent Care Division are currently recruiting registered nurses and paramedics to join our NHS 111 team. In this role you will work autonomously to deliver safe, effective and patient focused care. You will utilise your broad clinical knowledge and skills from previous roles, to this role to make a difference to patients. You will be fully trained in the use and application of a decision support tool called NHS pathways, that will support you to undertake telephone triage, assessing patient's presenting symptoms, advising them on next steps and referring them on to further care when appropriate.

Working in NHS 111 is a highly skilled and exciting role that gives you the opportunity to use and develop your assessment skills for a wide variety of patients and clinical presentations. We would welcome applications from capable, proactive and experienced registered nurses and paramedics who have excellent communication skills, are calm under pressure and enjoy working within an fast paced environment.

Successful candidates will be required to :-
  • Have a current professional registration with either the NMC or HCPC
  • Have the ability to assimilate large quantities of information quickly and accurately and communicate it clearly.
  • Be self motivated with ability to support and enthuse others and always demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of high quality patient care.

Career Development

If successful you must be available for our unique Pathways Training programme which will last for roughly 6 weeks, you will receive full pay and a pathways licence. We offer a part-time or a full-time course for your training. You need to be available to work variable shifts to include 3 out of 4 weekend shifts, earlies, evenings & bank holidays on a full time basis.
