Electrical Missile Architecture 10 month Placement
Missile Architects in MBDA are deployed across all of the project teams. Our teams draw upon a range of inputs from around the company to drive a coherent top-level design for our missiles. Typically the team consists of electrical, test, safety and reliability, and mechanical engineers so you'll be working with a great mix of engineering fields!
What's the opportunity?
Missile Architecture works with a wide range of technical functions and provides direct input towards project programme delivery across the business. We'll allocate you a project to work on which could be at any stage of its lifecycle - whatever the project you'll get to experience working with numerous people and departments within MBDA to achieve successful technical delivery of your project.

During your placement you'll get the opportunity to learn how to undertake and handle design and performance trade-off studies. You'll get involved in working on the design and delivery of subsystems into the project (E.g. Data links, Actuation systems, Telemetry Units. Etc) along with the possibility to assist with trials and testing of components and missiles during the development phase.
