Land & Planning Administrator / Planning or Property Graduate
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Land & Planning Administrator to join their team of Property experts at their office based in Surrey. We are looking for an individual who has worked in an office and has knowledge of the planning process. The successful candidate for this job should be proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook and have excellent organisational skills.
Role and Responsibilities include:
Assisting the Planning Manager with respect to all planning/development matters through all phases of the project.
Instructing topographical surveys and tree surveys upon signing of land deals to ensure a swift start to planning drawings.
Appointing and managing consultant teams in respect of planning applications or other land related matters alongside the Planning Manager.
Completing all pre-construction activities as outlined in the project checklist.
Answering all calls to the office telephone.
Presenting themselves as front of house in the office reception.
Responding to emails in the general enquiries' inbox.
Assisting other members of the team when required.
All other general office administration as and when required.
The ideal candidate:
Previous planning or development experience is essential
Detail-focused and comfortable working in a busy fast-paced office environment as part of a small team
Proactive and self-driven
Flexible and reliable
Credible, and comfortable in dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders
Proficiency in MS Office and in particular Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook
Exceptional communication skills
