A vacancy has become available for a part time 30 hour Band 5 Staff Nurse post on the ten bedded Critical Care Unit at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.

The Critical Care Unit will offer a range of experience caring for the critically ill adult.

There is a comprehensive training package available over a three month period.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated registered nurses with at least one years experience in an acute setting.

Newly qualified staff must have evidence of acute medical or surgical experience within their training.

The candidates must be able to work as part of a team, be good communicators and ensure the highest standard of patient care, which reflects the quality standards and mission of the Health Board.

They need to be an individual with a positive approach to nursing and be able to co-ordinate quality patient care and effective nursing responses to individual patients.

The training package for successful candidates will include a series of study days focusing on a particular system of the body e.g Respiratory and how to then care for a patient with respiratory complications.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
