We have an exciting opportunity for a FY2 to work with us at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust in General Surgery

We are looking for a dedicated doctor ready to work in a Trust striving to make patient experiences better than ever. Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust provides hospital-based services from three main sites, the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre and Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester. This role would be predominantly based in Worcester with the opportunity to work extra shifts across the Trusts' other sites and any of our partner Trusts.

The Trust delivers a wide range of acute hospital and specialist healthcare services to a population of around 580,000 in Worcestershire and surrounding areas. Delivering a range of services including emergency, inpatient, outpatient, maternity and diagnostic care, the trust also offers specialist services across the different sites.

Requirements

Doctors Direct recruit to the highest of NHS standards and all applicants for this role should meet pre-screening requirements before applying.
  • Full GMC licence to practice
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in and NHS Trust within the last 2 years
  • Long term cover
  • Normal work days but also required to cover On-Call shifts
