NHS Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (Somerset CCG) is looking to recruit a Band 7 Engagement Lead Officer.

We are looking for a professional, energetic and ambitious individual to join our busy Communications and Engagement team. You will have experience of working with in a similar role.

You will be responsible for the delivery of the Engagement function and will play a key role in delivering our communications and engagement strategy, working alongside the Engagement team.

The post holder will be pivotal in ensuring Somerset CCG exceeds and achieves its statutory duties and responsibilities for patient and public participation in commissioning and health care.

This will require delivery of an innovative, measurable, evidence based programme of patient and public involvement to support the CCG's work, ensuring that all engagement is accessible for its targeted audiences

This is a busy role where you will be expected to have a hands-on approach and work under pressure at times. You will need to be able manage multiple priorities, work well independently and have experience of delivering public engagement for large organisations.

You will also need to be passionate about involving and empowering communities to get involved and have their say.

The role will include a mixture of working from home and working at our head office in Yeovil (NHS Somerset CCG HQ - Wynford House, Lufton Way, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 8HR).
