Job Details

As a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, you will be fully supported to develop your clinical skills whilst you study for your Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions. You will spend 1 day per week studying at the University of Sheffield, where you will be taught by experts to deliver evidence based psychological therapies for clients with anxiety and depression. The remaining four days will be spent working with our skilled team of clinicians within our Bassetlaw service, to develop your new skills and gain experience. During this time, you will deliver low intensity interventions and comprehensive psychological assessments to support our wide range of clients.

The course provided by the University is recognised for its high quality and we have a strong track record of successfully supporting our trainees through their studies. You will be guided by our highly knowledgeable and approachable managers. In addition, you will receive support to further develop your skills and career with access to a range of CPD opportunities.

This course is 12 months, starting either February or March 2022, and attendance at all University teaching days is compulsory therefore it is essential that you can commit to this. You will work primarily 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, plus one late night per week.
