What you will be doing

As a qualifiedStaff Nurse, you will ensure people withMental Health conditionsreceive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promote good teamwork.

No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine.

The service operates 24/7. Standard shifts are 12.5hours a day, on a 0 hour contract, so you can pick and choose when you work.

Where you will be working

Location:Bennett's Lane,Widnes, Warrington,WA8 0GT

You will be working at the Gateway Recovery Centre, a state-of-the-art facility, providing care for men and women with complex mental health requirements to reducerisk behaviours associated with mental health conditions so that people in your care can ultimately live successful and fulfilling lives within the community.

The service is split intofourdistinct areas:
  • Male Autism Service for the challenging and complex needs of adults with Autism and Asperger's syndrome
  • Assessment and rehabilitation for women with complex mental health needs and personality difficulties
  • Specialist inpatient service for older men with complex mental health and physical health needs.
  • Low secure care setting for men with a mental illness with or without personality disorder/mild learning disabilities

You will be working alongside the team with the aim to improve the mental health and wellbeing of service users, to help them develop and maintain healthy relationships with others.
