CPG Rehab, Re-ablement and Recovery unit is a bed-based facility supporting people to recover and regain their independence following a period of illness, trauma, surgery, or significant event. It supports hospital discharges, prevents admission to hospital or long-term care and promotes independent living. It's a multi-disciplinary service with Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist, Social Workers, and care staff.

We are currently looking for a Technical Instructor who will be based within the Therapy Team under the direction and supervision of Senior Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to provide a range of person-centred re-ablement and rehabilitative programmes. As a Technical Instructor (TI) you will be expected to work with fellow TIs and Senior Therapists but also autonomously. Depending on experience, you will be given support and guidance to develop your skills and feel confident in this setting.

You must have either a Foundation Degree in relevant subject area OR NVQ Level 3 in relevant subject area with experience of working with people. You must be a good communicator and work well within a team, along with using your own initiative. In return, you will receive regular supervisions and the opportunity to develop further, for example, to pursue Foundation Degrees or Apprenticeships. Monthly therapy team meetings are held with a focus on team building, service development updates and ideas and recognition of positive team and individual achievements.
