ACCA Accounts Apprentice

You will be trained to complete:

• Year End, Quarterly and Monthly Accounts
• VAT/MTD
• Tax computations (sole traders to limited companies)
• Self-assessed tax returns
• Other accounting & client related tasks

You will be responsible for timely chasing in Client's paperwork and checking it on arrival for missing information.

• You will be numerate and have good written and verbal communication skills
• You will have strong IT skills
• Accuracy within the role is very important therefore you must have good attention to detail and be able to work methodically
• You will need to be able to show initiative and communicate effectively with your team members
• You will need to be well organised and be able to meet deadlines
• You will be fairly confident on the telephone and present an articulate and professional image at all times to clients

Personal qualities

• You will be working in a professional environment; therefore, you will need to be well presented and articulate
• You will be polite, friendly and welcoming and understand the importance of good client service
• You will be a team player with good interpersonal skills
• You will have good communication skills, both written and verbal
• You will be keen and enthusiastic in your approach to tasks and also to your development
• You must be reliable and flexible with excellent timekeeping

Desired qualifications

• AAT Level 4 qualified or Degree in Accountancy
