Help us to continue to unlock the power of data

The way customers interact with us is constantly evolving, and with it we’re having to adapt as an organisation. Across the UK, data skills have never been in higher demand and it is critical that we continue to develop data awareness and expertise.

In line with this, the Lloyds Banking Group apprenticeship programme will offer a structured development journey which will provide an immersive and varied learning experience to enable you to learn the tools and techniques required to develop a career in data.

Is our Data & Insight Apprenticeship for you?

The Data & Insights Apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to develop your capabilities as a data analyst, by teaching you how to collect, organise and study data to provide business insight. This allows Lloyds Banking Group to continue to unlock the power of data to support the Group’s clients and colleagues, which in turn helps Britain prosper.

The team that you join will work closely with business units across the division to drive and manage the constantly evolving systems that play a crucial role in being able to meet our customers’ needs. This is a phenomenal opportunity to join an established and face-paced area that’s always in demand.

What you'll learn on the Data & Insight Apprenticeship

As an apprentice on the programme, you’ll gain valuable work experience and on-the-job training. We’ll support you in the development of your technical competencies, such as data collection and analysis, in parallel with the interpersonal skills needed to thrive within a large inclusive, values-led organisation.

This is a permanent position within Lloyds Banking Group and, before you commence the study elements of your apprenticeship, you’ll spend time to become proficient in your role and to ensure you’re ready to gain the most benefit from the apprenticeship programme.

The work you’ll be doing

  • Interpreting complex performance data and managing the production of high-quality visual analysis
  • Monitoring and analysing data, using budgeting systems and protocols
  • Producing accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources
  • Providing information and clarification on existing procedures, processes and precedents
