What will the apprentice be doing?
The post holder will provide psychological interventions at Lambeth Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service within SLAM. In particular working with children and young people with complex mental health problems and those with neurodevelopmental difficulties.The focus will be on contributing to the assessment of children, young people and families presenting to CAMHS with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as ASD and ADHD.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will achieve an an MSc Clinical Associate in Psychology.
The current posts will be based with Lambeth CAMHS at 35 Black Prince Road, Kennington, London, SE11 6JJ
The training will be one day a week
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Apprentices will eligible to apply for qualified band 6 CAPs roles which will be available within the teams
