What will the apprentice be doing?
You will help the team to deliver high quality administrative services to both internal and external customers in a positive, proactive, courteous and impartial way.
The team are also responsible for areas such as dealing with rogue landlords, investigating noise complaints, animal welfare and parking enforcement so there will be a wide ranging and varied amount of fields for you to learn about.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will gain valuable work experience, developing your organisational, administrative and communication skills whilst studying towards a Regulatory Compliance Apprenticeship (Level 4).
The apprenticeship qualification will be undertaking within the workplace with an assessor meeting with you on a regular basis.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Within the public sector, Compliance Officers either work to perform regulatory services functions within local authorities such as environmental health, fire safety, licensing or trading standards but may also work within monitoring compliance teams within national regulators such as the Food Standards Agency (FSA), Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Department for the Environment Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) or the Register of Regulated Qualifications (OFqual).
