- Process and raise sales invoices
- Process purchase invoices
- Credit control for some clients
- Analysis and processing of expense receipts and credit card statements
- Commission's reporting
- Tour reporting
- Preparing and filing VAT returns
- Preparing payments
- Reconciliation of expenses, petty cash, bank accounts and credit card statements
- General support and assistance to the team
- Filing of documentation in manual and paperless filing systems
- Responsible for communicating with outside 3rd parties to ensure quarterly reporting and accounting deadlines are met
- Mentoring and assisting with the training of more junior staff

Requirements and prospects

- Strong communication and people skills
- Previous experience in bookkeeping
- Problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ideally QuickBooks
Personal qualities
- Proactive, organised and self-motivated

- Committed to further study towards an ACCA qualification
- An understanding of UK VAT returns -desirable
- Music / media interest - desirable
- Excellent attention to detail

- AAT level 3 or above - (or equivalent qualifications considered)
- Ideally educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
