In line with this ambition, theCorporate Nursing team is leading an exciting portfolio of education and workforce development to ensure an outstanding experience of placement learning and career development support for all students and apprentices that undertake placements within the Trust.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the clinical education team and we are looking to recruit a dynamic, experienced and passionate Pre-registration Nursing Education Lead to lead and manage the team. The post-holder will be a key player in the co-creating and developing the next phase of pre-registration education at the Trust.

The ideal candidate would be an experienced nurse educator, with a passion for pre-registration education and training, looking for a senior leadership opportunity and/or at a transition point in their career as a nurse educator.

This is an exciting and delivery-focused role, and we are keen to interview candidates meet the requirements in the person specification an demonstrate the following:
  • Experience of delivering quality practice-based learning experience and a commitment to continuous quality improvement
  • Personal and real life experience of teaching and supporting student learning
  • Skilled and knowledgeable in managing student placements and undertaking quality reviews
  • An interest and commitment in supporting and enabling interprofessional learning, particularly with midwifery colleagues and other clinical colleagues
  • Committed to continual improving student experience and ensuring equal opportunities for learning for or all students

You will need excellent communication skills, as you will be involved in and where appropriate, lead transformation initiatives, working in partnership with partners in different sectors, organisations and teams.
