What will the apprentice be doing?
As the apprenctice you will be work shadowing an experinced engineer who will train you to read and convert construction drawings into real life structures through the use of 3D and 2D models plus construction setting out techniquies. One day you could be setting out the underground services such as Gas and Water. Next day could be setting out a drainage run, or surveying a road etc. No two days are the same and you get to see what gets built in front of your very eyes.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 4 - construction site engineering technician will be achieved
Training will take place at Coventry University as a day release.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Expected career progression is to become a qualified engineer who could go onto further studies and to work within the buisness having their own site to look after.

Things to consider
Minimum of five GCSEs graded at 4 or above including English and Maths plus two A2 Levels or BTEC qualification or relevant professional experience will also be considered. Interviews to be held by the employer and the university. CV to be sent to the university. CSCS card will need to be obtained before being allowed on site.
