Administrator / Secretary / Minute Taker

£11.14 per hour plus accrued holiday pay

Do you have experience as an Administrator or Secretary? Are you comfortable taking minutes in online meetings? Are you a confident user of MS Office?

We have a new role for an Administrator to support the Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery & Transplant teams at the Wythenshawe site of Manchester University Foundation Trust. We are looking to hold interviews quickly and this team are looking for somebody to start ASAP. This booking will run until at least January 2022.

Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm

This is a band 3 role. The pay rate is £11.14 per hour.

You will be responsible for:
  • Taking and transcribing minutes in online meetings and the subsequent typing of correspondence, agendas, reports etc
  • Sorting and distribution of mail both electronic and paper form
  • Data entry and the updating of spreadsheets as required.
  • Travel and Accommodation booking for all courses and events necessary within the Directorate
  • Diary management and the arrangement of meetings, re-arranging where necessary.
  • Maintaining a bring-forward file and ensuring appropriate papers are available for meetings.
  • Providing day to day support to the Directorate including filing, photocopying etc.


It is essential that you:

  • Have minute taking experience
  • Are experienced using MS Office, particularly MS Teams, Word and Excel
