As you will have seen, the vaccine programme has made a great start and we are now looking to expand our workforce pool to help deliver this vital protection to people living across the Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire area.

As aCOVID-19 Registered Health Care Professionalyou will be responsible for:
  • Conducting pre-vaccination clinical assessments.
  • Reviewing patient medical histories and any potential adverse reactions.
  • Preparing the vaccine prior to administration by using aseptic technique.
  • Dilution and drawing up of the vaccine from multi-dose vials.
  • Setting up the vaccination station.
  • Ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes by using up-to-date skills and adhering to policies and procedures.

To be considered for the role you will hold a professional healthcare registration and be willing to put yourself forward to undertake training and lend a hand.You could be a Nurse, Pharmacist, Occupational Health practitioner or other registered healthcare professional as outlined on the national protocol.

As the Lead Employer, you will work through the RUH bank on a zero hour's contract providing ad hoc flexible cover to help deliver the vaccines over the coming months at the Large Vaccination Centres and across the Primary Care Network. You will have the flexibility to choose shifts and locations that suit your work-life balance.
