We are pleased to be able to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our Point of Care Team as a Biomedical Assistant. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work on their own initiative as well as being part of a team. Duties will be varied and include the input of patient data in to the laboratory computer systems, preparation of samples for analysis and storage, testing COVID samples on rapid POCT devices, supporting the POC team when required with assistant tasks such as QC checks, audits across the Trust, electronic scanning of request forms, dealing with telephone enquiries, housekeeping duties including stock management and waste handling.

Please note that there is no capacity to complete the state registration portfolio for Biomedical Scientists in this role.
