What will the apprentice be doing?
We have a variety of opportunities available in our Enterprise and Cyber Security team. These include technical and non-technical roles, for example working in our Advanced Threat Centre (ATC) as a Security Analyst or in Cyber Consulting.
The ATC is the Fujitsu advanced Security Operations Centre (SOC) where we use cutting edge security tools to help keep Fujitsu and our clients secure.
You will have the opportunity to join an organisation that is passionate about emerging technologies, Cyber Security and its people.
You will be supported throughout your Apprentice scheme and will receive structured training and development to build the skills within Cyber Security.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The Fujitsu Degree Apprenticeship is a 4-year scheme, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst studying towards your BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions Degree.
The degree will be delivered through taught sessions at Winchester University one day per week with the rest of your time spent on the job with 20% of your time dedicated to your studies.
Each module you study will match up to the business area within Fujitsu that you will be working in, ensuring you are receiving work-based learning that is relevant to your course.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Within Fujitsu, you will receive lots of support to allow you to perform to the best of your ability in your role with us. You will be line managed and will receive coaching and mentoring from employees within the business. You will also undertake the 24 month modular development programme alongside others within the junior talent community.
