What will the apprentice be doing?
Includes:
-To assist in delivery of information assurance and cyber security services in line with the Cyber Security Strategy.
-monitor networks and systems, detect security threats ('events'), analyse and assess alerts, and report on threats, intrusion attempts and false alarms
-To identify, analyse and evaluate security threats and hazards to a system or service using research, relevant external sources of threat intelligence
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 4 Cyber Security Technologist (Defender and Responder)
Training provded by CyberPRO Academy (The Specialists Hub) and delivered through a combination of instructor ed MS Teams masterclasses, self study and work based learning.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Security Analyst
