Job description  

Adrenaline Academy are recruiting for an Apprentice Reception/Administrator to join our team. As receptionist you will be handling client facing duties as well as general office administrator tasks. When the members and guests walk into our Academy, we want them to find a friendly smiling face and a helping hand.

 The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

 This role is a front facing customer service role and you will be required to greet and interact with members and guests as they arrive at the Academy.

 Duties Include:

  •  Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring enquiries
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contribute to Academy communications and marketing
  • Answering calls. Dealing with enquiries and directing calls to appropriate department.
  • Maintain Managing website functions and social media
  • Carrying out requests from management as needed

As an Apprentice, you will be included on a L2 Customer Service Practitioner standard and will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by a structured programme of teaching, e learning, and workplace mentoring prior to completing an assessment. Your apprenticeship will be delivered by  Babcock Training who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship.

This vacancy is for a temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment within Adrenaline Academy upon the completion of the apprenticeship programme.

GCSE Maths & English at 9-4 or A-C or equivalent

Customer Service Practitioner Level 2
Apprenticeship standards are aimed at developing skills within the Apprentices chosen career route, each standard has set knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be successful within the job role. This will include the completion of functional skills in Maths and English. Once the apprentice has completed a minimum of 14 months training and the employer and Babcock regional trainer confirm they have met all the requirements of the standard they will be put through to end point assessment. The end point assessment is independent from the training and includes a variety of assessment methods which test the skills and knowledge of the apprentice to ensure they are fully competent in their role. Each Apprentice will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by a structured programme of teaching, e-learning, face to face training and workplace mentoring; this will encourage and help them to meet the requirements of the new standards and will prepare them for the end of point assessment.
