Paralegal/Apprentice Solicitor with Jordans Solicitors (Yorkshire)

We are recruiting for January 2022 onwards for eventual commencement of the SAC in September 2022.

Duties will include;

• Assisting solicitors with the preparation of documents
• Taking instructions for and preparing simple wills
• You will also take initial enquiries from potential clients over the telephone

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

• Highly organised and excellent written and oral communication
• IT literate - we operate a paper-lite system as part of our target to reduce our impact on the environment

Personal qualities

• Keen interest in working directly with clients particularly in Private Client work

Desired qualifications

• Minimum of 3 A Levels (or equivalent) at grades A,B,Btotalling128 UCAS points and 5 GCSEs at grade 4 including English and maths or equivalent qualifications

Future prospects

• For those apprentices who show great potential, the opportunity to ultimately qualify as a solicitor
