The Apprentice Data Analyst at Health iQ will be supported and mentored to learn the fundamentals of data analysis and actively contribute to the work of the team. The role requires excellent numerical and analytical skills and attention to detail to deliver high quality outputs.

Responsibilities:
  • Performing data cleansing, management, and analysis for studies on healthcare data
  • Supporting the development of data products (dashboards, reports and other analysis)
  • Owning basic projects and creating relevant reports and dashboards
  • Validating other analysts' work and communicating key insights and findings to project stakeholders
  • Supporting the maintenance of software products by performing quality assurance testing and validation
  • Working with the support desk to provide clients with data reports and accurate and comprehensive answers to data related questions
  • Creating data dashboards, graphs, and visualisations
  • Prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and communicating delays and blockers
  • Providing administrative and project support across the Analyst team

  • Knowledge of the MSOffice suite, in particular Excel
  • Basic understanding of coding concepts and logic

Desired qualifications

  • GCSE English and maths at grade C/4 or aboveand 2x A Levels (1 including maths, Economics or ICT),or
  • An International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in ICT
  • A Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject
  • A BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)

A minimum of 15 months of experience within the last 24 months or 18 months in the last 36 months in an IT role.

Specific roles that are acceptable are:
  • Data Administrator
  • Business Analyst

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
