Help us understand business need and implement impactful solutions

We have an exciting opportunity available within Lloyds Banking Group. We’re looking for innovative problem solvers, team players and people with an eye for detail who are keen to make an impact within banking and financial services. If you would like to join our Business Analyst apprenticeship programme and gain exposure to different projects and programme areas, this role is for you.

Is our Business Analyst Apprenticeship for you?

Day in and day out, you’ll work with Group Transformation or the Chief Information Office. They’re our leaders and experts here at Lloyds Banking Group, specialising in the delivery and support of large, complex change programmes, as well as the implementation of cross-divisional and regulatory initiatives.

You'll be responsible for requirements analysis, process design and solution design for small work packages, initiatives or small components of a larger project or product, in order to realise customer value through excellence and execution. You'll use business analyst skills to support the Product Owner or Project Manager to identify and understand the business need, analyse and prioritise the requirements and then assess, design, test and implement agreed solutions.

What you’ll learn on the Business Analyst Apprenticeship

You'll gain an insight into how different large-scale projects run within Lloyds Banking Group and how the resulting outputs affect our customers or different internal areas of our business. You’ll further discover how different business areas operate and function across the organisation.

This apprenticeship covers the fundamentals of business analysis and will allow you to conduct structured investigations of business situations, model processes to establish efficiencies, elicit requirements from customers, consider wider risks to change and support the business impact assessment of transformation.

The work you could be doing

  • Identifying underlying business needs to be addressed and challenging existing practices
  • Working collaboratively with our Product Owners and Delivery teams to ensure consistent understanding of the proposed solution
  • Customer experience design, operation design and solution design – identifying and resolving macro and micro design decisions
  • Managing scope to make sure we keep delivery on track
