What will the apprentice be doing?
Working as part of a close-knit and vibrant team, you will be learning to manage your own caseload, conduct research and become an expert in genealogy
You will learn:
Liaising with sub-contractors to work on cases
Conducting research to find family members, beneficiaries of wills and ancestors
Work with solicitors, banks and other professionals to administer estates
Keeping case notes up to date on the software system
Helping prepare quotes
Assist with letters and administration
Answering the telephone and emails
Greeting visitors to the office

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
During your apprenticeship, you will be studying towards your Level 4 Project Management Apprenticeship, delivered by Professional Apprenticeships through a mixture of classroom learning and 1-1 tutor support. During this advanced apprenticeship, you will learn a vast range of knowledge, skills and behaviours, covering such topics as the basics of project management, budgeting, project planning, working with contractors and so much more.
