You will contribute to the successful delivery of our ambitious roadmap, ensuring that our customers benefit from your innovation and creativity.At the same time, you will be gaining expertise and experience in the latest technologies, such as C#, React and node. Whilst we are currently operating on a remote basis and there is no expectation that the business will return to 100% office based working, there will be an expectation once Covid rules are relaxed to attend the North Walsham office as and when required by the business. Following a comprehensive induction into Engage Health Systems, you will be supported to complete a Accredited Level 4 Software Developer Apprenticeship with Firebrand Training, an experienced technology training provider.Your training will continue throughout the apprenticeship with both Firebrand and Engage Health Systems own highly skilled software engineers and technical specialists. Your experience and learning during this apprenticeship will kick start your career as a software engineer within an agile technology development function and be a gateway to further study and promotion opportunities.

Working alongside experienced software developers, you will:
- Code in a manner consistent with published coding standards, as part of a team to ensure all objectives are delivered to a high standard of quality and accuracy
- To work closely with other members of the team by understanding your own contribution to the team's goals, taking ownership of any potential problems to ensure they are resolved
- To identify and highlight where productivity gains can be achieved either through new techniques or adoption of programming tools
- To practice test driven development
- To be aware of current trends and new technologies within the industry and keep skills up to date through self-study and research
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of your Scrum Team through the Agile Retrospective ceremonies that take place

- At least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above including maths, English and either IT or Science
- Educated to Level 3 as a minimum in an IT based subject
