We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person, who is seeking a first step into the care sector. We believe in looking after our people, helping them to develop and grow in the role in a supportive can-do environment, where we aim to do a great job but have fun doing it.

As an apprentice Care Coordinator you will join the team based in our Leyburn office and be expected to work 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, with support and time off for training and development as a carer and care coordinator. You will be reporting to one of our two experienced Care Coordinators, and be jointly responsible for the day-to-day delivery of care, ensuring Premiere Care's clients and carers receive an excellent, well managed and efficient service.

As well as demonstrating passion for looking after vulnerable clients, the successful candidate will be well organised, computer literate and with a confident, caring approach to dealing with the public, both over the phone and in person. A car owner / driver with a full UK driving licence is essential as you will need to travel to our client's homes, but experience of working in the care industry is not needed as we will train and support you.

Duties will include:
  • Managing carer availability and ensuring clients care needs are being appropriately met
  • Home assessment of clients and their needs and drafting care plans
  • Maintaining administrative records on the online office filing systems
  • Dealing with new client and carer enquiries
  • Promoting our values and quality assurance
  • Dealing with any complaints
  • Occasional evening and weekend emergency cover required

  • Minimum of 5 A*-C / 9-4including maths and English (or equivalent)
