What will the apprentice be doing?
· For the first two years, you will complete two, one year long placements. Rotating across different Thales sites, across the different business units experiencing the engineering lifecycle. You will be assigned to a program where you will work other engineers to design and develop engineering solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
· In the second part of the scheme, you will complete a further two, one year long placements to allow you to start building knowledge in your chosen area.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
As well as the knowledge gained through your business placements and as part of our commitment to nurture talent, you'll complete a Postgraduate Engineer Apprenticeship 'Management in an Engineering Context' with our dedicated partner Cranfield University. The learning will be brought to you remotely and will support towards professional accreditation.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
A permanent position within a Thales Engineering role.

You will have gained/on track to achieve a degree in one of the below subject areas: • Systems Engineering • Electrical, Electronics or Communications Engineering • Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering • Manufacturing Engineering • Design, Manufacturing & Engineering Management • Mathematics or Physics • Computer or Data Science
