What will the apprentice be doing?
Our Gun Engineering specialists are looking for level 6 apprentices to join their team.
The team conducts assessments of the design, performance and safety and suitability for service of weapons and gun systems. This includes air, land and naval weapons covering missiles and artillery shell through to small-arms bullets. The team also undertake design studies and assessment of large and small calibre gun systems.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
You will be offered a full time role as a Weapons Scientist based within our Gun Engineering team.

- You will do a blended approach of time spent on site with our Gun Engineer specialists & the course provider
- Block release
