What will the apprentice be doing?
Reporting to the divisional manager, your will cover the following:
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Measurement & analysis of products during production.
- Investigating quality issues within production, warehousing & issues raised by customers.
- Auditing of management systems, product quality, safety, environment, and energy.
- Investigating accidents, near misses & hazards.
- Carrying out risk assessments & identifying control measures.
- Identifying aspects & impacts with regards to the environment.
- ISO management systems.
The apprentice will complete a Level 4 standard qualification in Business Improvement. This will mainly be delivered remotely through monthly 1:1 coaching sessions, during working hours, and through self-led research and assignment work set by your Specialist Tutor. The initial apprenticeship period will be 15 months, but the employer has designed a 3-year training period for this opportunity, and further qualifications and training will be provided after completing the Improvement Practitioner apprenticeship standard.
