Job Description - Apprentice Office/Business Administrator

Job summary/ purpose:

We are currently looking to recruit a driven Apprentice Office/Business Administrator with multiple areas of progression.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Initial Duties

Sourcing candidates through existing database, job boards, advertising, social media and referrals.

Formatting candidate CV's to the Zeus Personnel standard.

Assisting with gaining compliance documentation for candidates.

Responsible for updating and cleansing internal CRM database.

General administrative/sales support to the recruitment team.

Take brief/salary/AWR information and record accurate and comprehensive job description.

Check info/client requirements are in line with key processes and legislation

Write and place job advertisements on job boards and on company website following the template.

Eligibility to work: checking and obtaining relevant documentation (right to work/identification/Limited Co/Umbrella/bank details)

Reference checking - candidates on 2nd interview or on acceptance of offer for contractors

Update and maintain client and candidate accurate information on database / store all required documents.

Ensure records are stored on your designated portal (passport/LtdCo/VAT certifications etc)

General Administration duties including

Any other duties as required

Progression Duties

* First point of contact for candidates, identifying their skills and matching with appropriate vacancies.

* Cold calling candidates / clients.

* Sourcing suitable temporary and permanent vacancies from a range of clients and VMS's.

* Researching the market, identifying target clients, generating leads and developing business relationships.

* Providing advice and guidance to candidates regarding specific positions and interviews.

* Working towards daily/weekly/monthly target, responsible for delivering on set targets.

* Meet sales targets as set by Directors

* Carry out business development calls

* Winning new business though networking events, referencing, targeted calls etc.

* Client visits - identify and follow up on business leads

* Building successful professional relationships with Clients

* Gather info on client - decision maker and number of employees, recruitment needs and capture all on database

Person Specification

* Educated to a minimum of GCSE equivalent level.

* Well-developed skills in Word Processing (e.g. Microsoft Word), Spreadsheets (e.g. Excel) Emails (e.g. Outlook)

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Self-starter who is goal oriented.

Progression Targets and Activity Levels

The Director sets targets and Activity Levels which are required to be met. Successful recruitment consultant with basis for promotion will be required to achieve 100% of sales targets over the year as well as positive contributions to client relationships and colleagues.

Typical Activity levels reviewed are

* General Activities - CVs sent, interviews generated

* Sales Activity - placements made, new roles, new candidates

* Canvassing projects - Client / Candidate calls and meetings

* Follow-ups on client leads and candidate referrals

Performance Appraisals

Activity Levels are reviewed on a weekly basis and form part of the quarterly performance review. Any Career progression outside the in-house parameters will be reviewed on an annual basis during a formal appraisal
