The technician in this post will be a member of the ICT support team based at Advanced IT Services. You will assist the in-house technicians to provide a first line IT Support to external schools and commercial customers.

Wage

£4.30 per hour

Working week

Monday to Friday (8.30am-4.30 pm)

Total hours per week: 35 (Inclusive of training)

Expected duration

18 months (inclusive of End-Point Assessment)

Job Description

The ideal candidate for the role will be a talented and highly motivated individual with a keen interest in Digital Marketing. You should be able to demonstrate IT literacy, a strong sense of creativity and a keen interest in a career in IT.

Duties will include:

  • The provision of first line technical and operational support to all external clients and commercial customers.
  • Execute ‘Helpdesk’ tasks and faults ensuring adequate systems delivery and problem resolution within agreed timescales.
  • Performing preventative and corrective maintenance of ICT.
  • Performing computer updates and replacements as directed.
  • The installation and configuration of all PC workstations and associated software packages as directed.
  • Occasionally assisting with the provision of technical support.
  • Taking responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the children and young people in school.

Training Provided by althaus - IT Solutions Technician Level 3 and CompTIA A+/N+
