What will the apprentice be doing?
As an Environmental degree apprentice in our team in London, you will be working with colleagues in all of our key technical disciplines (including acoustics, air quality, ecology, EIA, ground and water, landscape architecture, heritage, climate change and sustainability). Your tasks could include; collecting field survey information, contributing to Environmental impact assessments, carrying out environmental desk studies, conducting research projects and contributing to project management
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will attend the Kingston University to study an Environmental Science degree apprenticeship and gain a bachelors qualification, as well as completing your End Point Assessment. You will also be enrolled onto a bespoke internal development programme to help you to attain the knowledge, skills and behaviours to successfully achieve your apprenticeship, and support your career in Environmental Consultancy.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
As this is a permanent position, after gaining your degree, WSP will continue to be committed to your learning and development throughout your career with us. You will have the opportunity to work towards gaining Chartered status with your chosen institution, as well as the opportunity to pursue your further study and training goals.

BTEC or equivalent Ext L3 in a relevant subject area (Grade DDM or above) Desired
