Primary Responsibilities
Recruitment:
- Organise interviews across the teams, liaising directly with candidates via the recruitment platform, Workable
- Updating Workable with interview feedback and providing a timely response to all applicants
- Posting vacancies and other news on the careers page of the Company website, University, and other jobs boards as appropriate
Intern Programme:
- Support the Senior Talent Consultant in maintaining the roster of interns across the teams ensuring we fill positions ahead of time
- Schedule interviews with relevant team members and collate feedback
- Work with teams to offer advice and finds solutions to hiring issues
- Collect referees for each new intern ahead of their start date, and complete other new joiner paperwork
- Attend networking events with the Senior Talent Consultant at Universities and other graduate events to meet prospective candidates
- Work with the Senior Talent Consultant to seek out new ways of advertising and attracting intern candidates
Training:
- Book training sessions and monitor responses as requested
- Keep accurate attendance records for each session
- Collect feedback for all training courses
- Assist with the scheduling of the Company "Lunch & Learn" programme
Internal Events & Activities:
- Schedule internal company team building and Culture Club activities in line with budget
- Work with the Senior Talent Consultant on organizing CSR/volunteering initiatives to offer across the business
- Update the company meeting slides monthly
- Taken part in the inclusion & diversity network meetings and activity
General HR:
- Work with the Senior Talent Consultant to obtain pre-employment references for all staff and flag any issues or discrepancies
- Coordinate employee benefits admin including healthcare insurance & pensions auto-enrolment
- Schedule inductions for new joiners and deliver Talent inductions for new starters at Intern level
- Draft general staff correspondence letters e.g., probationary letters
- Respond to reference requests and housing employment reference checks for past and current employees
- Update the HR platform, HiBob, with accurate data e.g. adding new joiners, promotions
- Work with the Talent team to review and update job descriptions and other documentation as required
- Responsibility for updates on the Company Manuals for all offices London, Brussels, Dublin, and the Middle East - circulating updates round teams as required

Training Provided
As a HR Support Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the HR Support Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, which is aligned with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Upon completion you will be awarded the CIPD Foundation Certificate and you will be able to apply for Membership of CIPD.
The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures, and face to face inductions and masterclasses.
