Things to consider
This role is based 30% office based and 70% outdoor based. Do be aware this role involves travel, and regularly visiting farms.
- Engaging with farmers and growers to provide technical advice and in-field soil and water data to help them optimise nutrient and pesticide usage.
- Develop a good understanding of the pressures on agriculture; facilitating conversation and cooperation between the two industries.
- Collect, collate and analyse of farm and hydrometric data in a safe and sustainable manner.
- Reporting/presenting, verbally and in writing.
- Working outside in all weathers.
