GCSE or equivalent Science or Engineering (any other similar subject) (Grade 9 - 4) Essential
A Level or equivalent Maths (Grade A - C) Essential
A Level or equivalent Relevant subject (Grade A - C) Essential
Things to consider
This role is regional so you will be expected to work anywhere within the Wessex Water region, which could be anywhere between Bristol and Bournemouth and Salisbury across to Taunton. If you don't yet have a driving licence we will pay for your driving lessons as you are required to drive for this role.
- Carrying out site labouring and later construction site supervision and project management.
- Understanding the importance of safety in all aspects of projects.
- Contributing to civil, electrical and mechanical designs for projects.
- Planning to reduce environmental impacts and managing quality systems.
- You will be given early responsibility for construction projects.
- Studying contract and commercial processes.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

- Construction Site Engineering Apprenticeship.
- Level 4 HNC in Construction and the Built Environment.
- ICE EngTech professional status.
