What will the apprentice be doing?
Reporting to the divisional manager, your will cover the following:
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The apprentice will complete a Level 4 standard qualification in Business Improvement. This will mainly be delivered remotely through monthly 1:1 coaching sessions, during working hours, and through self-led research and assignment work set by your Specialist Tutor. Your employer will ensure you have access to all the training for the job role you need to work safely and appropriately for the Epwin Group too.

This opportunity will give the successful applicant a fantastic level of understanding and ability within Safety, Health, Environment and Quality functions across one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of low maintenance building products with some of the best-known manufacturing and service names in the sector. Things to consider
The initial apprenticeship period will be 15 months, but the employer has designed a 3-year training period for this opportunity, and further qualifications and training will be provided after completing the Improvement Practitioner apprenticeship standard.
Reporting to the divisional manager, your will cover the following:
- Measurement & analysis of products during production.
- Investigating quality issues within production, warehousing & issues raised by customers.
- Auditing of management systems, product quality, safety, environment, and energy.
- Investigating accidents, near misses & hazards.
- Carrying out risk assessments & identifying control measures.
- Identifying aspects & impacts with regards to the environment.
- ISO management systems.
