Clinical Facilitator

A vacancy for a part time clinical facilitator Band 6 has arisen at North East London foundation Trust.

Are you looking for a fresh challenge, are you committed to supporting clinical apprenticeships from band 3 pathway, assistant practitioner to nursing degree apprentice and keen to be part of a team where your ideas and opinions are valued then look no further.

North East London Foundation Trust corporate services are looking for a motivated Clinical facilitator to work with the senior clinical facilitator in supporting these apprentice's through their journey .

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the senior clinical facilitator in undertaking comprehensive assessments and planned supervision and education of clinical support workers in Bands 1 to 4 with particular focus on work based learners including those under taking the Care Certificate and other higher level learning e.g Assistant Practitioner and the Degree Nurse Apprentice.

The ideal candidate must be a Registered nurse with degree or equivalent Post registration specialist training in mental and or physical health and must be a registered Mentor with a positive attitude to supervision and training.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential. We provide all our staff with a comprehensive development/induction programme in addition to friendly working environments.

Probationary Period

This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).

Assessment/Interview info

At NELFT we set very high standards to ensure we provide quality services. We require prospective employees to carry out an online literacy and numeracy test, equivalent to NVQ Level 2. Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction.

High Cost Area Supplement - London

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £3,898 and a maximum payment of £4,967).
