BOXARR have an exciting new opportunity for a Junior DevOps Apprentice based in Bristol. If you want to develop your DevOps technical skills to kick-start your career - this role is for you! This is a great opportunity to build your career in Software Solution Engineering. You will work on opportunities with a mentor or manager to learn new skills as part of an overall career path over a period-oftime and then progress eventually to a Solutions Engineer position. Your manager will provide a development plan, a timeline with KPIs to measure the performance on this exciting career path with an innovative software company.

In addition to the knowledge and skills, the learner in this programme will develop an aptitude for working in a collaborative Presales & Solution Delivery environment, recognising that technology evolves at a rapid pace and embracing continuous learning through experimentation, peer reviews and feedback. The opportunity of becoming a Technical Consultant for BOXARR could present itself following on from the apprenticeship course.

You will be a part of the Solutions Engineering team assisting clients by offering technology recommendations and advice, aiming to secure sales and client satisfaction; coordinating our sales personnel, identifying the needs of our clients, discussing how our solutions will help our clients attain business goals, and answering any inquiries. Furthermore, it is essential to develop positive relationships with clients, all while adhering to the company's policies and regulations.

As the course progresses you will combine cutting edge methodologies and knowledge of the industry with the latest technologies to deliver the best projects for a diverse range of clients. In this role, you will help maintain practices that will combine software development and IT Operations.

You will focus on the development of multiple systems whilst ensuring a continuous life cycle of processes, updates, and software development. Note. This is a technical role and, as such requires the individual to be able to diagnose and resolve issues promptly and effectively whilst giving customers a first-class experience. Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

• Build and operate a Continuous Integration (CI) capability.

• Implement and improve release automation and orchestration.

• Use security tools and techniques for software development.

• Evolve and define IT architecture.

• Follow test driven development and ensure appropriate coverage. You will be able to apply for entry onto the professional Register of IT Technicians (RITTech) to benchmark and confirm your professional competence. Apprenticeship progression routes are also available in a relevant pathway of the BSc Digital and Technology Solutions Degree.

This apprenticeship is ideal if you are:

• Interested in becoming a DevOps engineer, an automation engineer, a release engineer, a deployment engineer, a cloud infrastructure engineer, a full-stack developer.

• Involved in implementing DevOps processes and are looking to develop your knowledge and understanding of key DevOps concepts and acquire relevant skills to build and deploy secure applications rapidly.
