What will the apprentice be doing?
You will gain highly valued skills, benefit from excellent training and work on cutting-edge projects, all within a successful and dynamic company. Even better, as this is an Apprenticeship, you'll be able to benefit from all of this without the cost of attending university as your studies will be funded through our apprenticeship levy.
You may attend university one day a week and the other 4 days you will be on site then back at Roke applying what you've learnt at university straight into practice, Therefor flexibility and a willingness to travel is essential. You will be working on exciting technology such as building UAVs
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
At the end of the apprenticeship you will be awarded a technical support engineer (degree) (level 6). The training will be a day release so you will need to be able to travel to the University as well as Roke HQ in Romsey
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
After qualifying as an Apprentice you will have opportunities to develop as a Manufacturing Technician then on to deep specialism or line management.

GCSE or equivalent Maths or Science (Grade 4 or above) Essential
