Candidates need to be fit and active (there is lots of moving and lifting involved) and have a keen interest in production and processes. This is a great opportunity to get on board an expanding company. We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic person with a strong desire to learn and get stuck in.

Our brewing team has over 18 years of commercial brewing experience between them and a previous background in chemical engineering and computing so would be keen to support the apprenticeship and learning process.

Future prospects
Once the Apprentice has completed their training they will move to the position of brewer with a payrise, They will be able to create and produce recipes and beers for customers independently. Manage their own fermentation. Working much more independently.
There is also the possibility if desired for the right candidate to take on other brewery aspects as we grow (eg sales, social media, website development, marketing).
- 37.5 hrs per week (7.5hrs / Day with 30min Lunch)
- 24 days Holiday / Year
- National Minimum wage then pay rise on qualification
- Reporting to the Head brewer and Lead Brewer
Candidates will support the brewing process:
- Mashing in
- Digging out
- Wort management
- Package and prepare the beers
- Fermentation
- Monitoring
- Filling casks/ Barrels
- Kegging
- Canning
- Labelling
- Shipping
