Chief Technician Replenishment Services

Are you an experienced qualified pharmacy technician who is looking for a new challenge?

A vacancy has arisen for a committed and driven Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate, providing operational leadership and management of the pharmacy stores and replenishment services across the 3 UHL pharmacy departments

The post will involve managing the pharmacy stores and replenishment service, ensuring we are delivering to accepted local and national standards, and meeting current and future legal requirement. You will need to work closely with dispensary team leaders and the Central Purchasing team at UHL. This post is the training and support lead for pharmacy technologies, primarily the robot

There will also be a requirement to undertake dispensary duties according to service need.

You will be a professionally qualified Pharmacy Technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council with extensive post qualification experience in the Hospital sector. You will have strong interpersonal skills and be proficient in IT, enthusiastic and well-motivated.
